Answer: For a customer to pay with the African Payment Gateways he/she needs to do the following:

• If African Payment Method addon is activated customers will be able to pay with Mpesa and Flutterwave option during checkout.

Mpesa: For a customer to pay with Mpesa on checking out the customer needs to follow the procedures described below:

• Click on the Mpesa image. Also check the agreeing on terms and policy checkbox. Finally, click on the Complete Order  button to complete the order.

• It will lead the user to a form which he/she will need to fill up. The user needs to input his Mobile number as well as Account Number/Bill Reference number. Then click the Pay Now button to finalize the order.

Flutterwave: For a customer to pay with flutterwave he/she needs to follow the procedures described below:

• The user needs to click the flutterwave image on the order completing confirmation page . Then check the terms and policy agreeing checkbox. Finally, click the Complete Order button to finalize the order.

• After clicking the completing order button the user will be redirected to the flutterwave account credentials page. And he will need to input his/her account credentials. 

• After adding his/her credentials the user will be redirected to another page that requires him/her to enter the 4-digit card pin.

• After entering the 4-digit pin the user will be redirected to another page that will tell him/her to enter the OTP that has been sent to his/her mobile as well as email.

• Finally, if the user entered all the credentials, pin and the OTP correctly he should be redirected to a page that will let him know that his payment was either successful or unsuccessful. 

• If the screen shown above appears, the user needs to wait for a few seconds (about 5-7 secs).

• Still if it does not  redirect the user should try refreshing the page without closing the tab or window.

• If he does not wait his payment result will not be saved inside the database. But the payment will be completed.

Payfast: For a customer to checkout using the payfast gateway he/she needs to do the following:

• Go to the checkout page and select payfast.

• Then it will take to their payment credentials page. Click complete payment to complete it or cancel to cancel it.

• After that a page will come. Don’t close it as it is very important to wait for 5-10 sec or the payment will not be saved.

And if the use followed everything thoroughly it should work perfectly.
